The opportunity
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual for an opportunity to join our team as a Construction Management Cadet. This is a permanent, full-time position offering real potential for career advancement within the company.
The successful candidate will work with our site teams and be involved in construction projects that cover a broad range of build sectors including commercial, healthcare, education and retail.
To be considered for this opportunity any candidate must have a genuine interest in construction and committed to forging a successful career within this field. Preference will be given to candidates who are in their final year of study or who have a diploma or degree in construction and/or engineering.
Our Cadetship Programme is a unique opportunity for graduates to gain practical, hands-on experience with an industry leader. Through a structured learning pathway, cadets will work across all facets of construction, gaining valuable insights from tender stage through to project completion.
A Construction Management Cadet
As a Construction Management Cadet, you will be mentored under the direction of Senior Site Managers and Project Managers. You will undertake assigned projects, learn the methodology and programme performance standards, on live projects. This role is ideal for individuals keen to experience modern construction techniques in action within a supportive team-based environment.
Key qualities required include the following:
- A high level of attention to detail
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Show initiative in handling and prioritising tasks and solving problems
- Work within and contribute to a team environment
- The ability to multitask efficiently
