The opportunity
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wellington team as an Estimating Cadet. This is a full-time, permanent position offering real potential for career advancement within the company.
The successful candidate will be part of the Preconstruction team and gain exposure to a wide range of construction projects across sectors such as commercial, healthcare, education, and retail.
To be considered, candidates must demonstrate a genuine interest in construction and a commitment to building a successful career in the industry. Preference will be given to those currently studying or holding a diploma or degree in construction Quantity Surveying.
Our Cadetship Programme is a unique opportunity for graduates to gain practical, hands-on experience with an industry leader. Through a structured learning pathway, cadets will work across all facets of construction, gaining valuable insights from tender stage through to project completion.
An Estimating Cadet
As an Estimating Cadet, you will be mentored by Preconstruction Manager and Senior Estimators. You will contribute to tenders, learn construction methodologies and performance standards in a supportive, team-based environment. This role is ideal for individuals keen to experience modern construction techniques in action.
