The opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a Health and Safety Advisor to further support our Hawke’s Bay site teams. We are looking for a driven person who wants to contribute to a positive health and safety culture.
Ideally, you will have at least three years’ health and safety advisory or supervisory experience in the construction sector or a similar dynamic industry where each day brings different challenges. Fundamental to the role is your ability to work with and within our staff and subcontractor teams, understand our business, and provide a practical, solutions-focused approach to continuous improvement.
Assisting our site teams with both project and resource needs, this role requires a highly organised individual with strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to apply these to both project delivery and tender submissions.
A tertiary or professional qualification would be an advantage, but more important is a sound understanding of relevant Health and Safety legislation and its application.
Why work for us?
At Naylor Love, we understand work isn’t only about who you work for-it’s also about what you do and your experiences. When you join Naylor Love, you will experience the strength of our values and our belief that “Our People are our Brand.” This is shaped by our employees having ownership of what they do. We will support you to take charge of your career by providing growth opportunities along the way.
In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to a wide range of benefits, including:
Paid parental leave
Annual skin checks, flu vaccinations, and health checks
Staff purchasing benefits
Volunteer days to give back to your local community
Access to free, independent counselling and support services for you and your family
Applications close on Friday, 13 March 2026.
