About us
Naylor Love is proud to be one of New Zealand's largest national construction companies, recognised for our strong relationships and people-first values. Our success is built on our team - join us and be part of something special!
The opportunity
We have a great opportunity for a talented Project Administrator who thrives in the dynamic world of construction. If you're an expert organiser with a sharp eye for detail, outstanding communication skills, and a passion for teamwork, we want you on our crew! This is a fixed-term agreement until the end of March 2027.
In this varied and rewarding role, you'll be the backbone of our project team because even the best builders need someone who can keep them organised. You'll support Project and Site Managers with essential administration, keep documentation up to date (because "lost paperwork" isn't a design feature), manage project systems, and help drive our projects forward.
Your initiative and positive attitude will make you the MVP of the site - bonus points if you can organise a toolbox meeting and a Friday BBQ without breaking a sweat. Think of yourself as the social glue that holds the team together (and maybe the one who remembers everyone's coffee order).
You'll bring the following:
Full Drivers Licence (essential)
Highly organised and efficient approach
Experience working in a fast-paced environment
Calm under pressure, always maintaining high standards
Impeccable attention to detail
Contract administration experience (a plus)
Construction knowledge (an advantage)
Ability to anticipate needs and stay ahead of the game
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel
Document control experience (beneficial)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
Why work for us
At Naylor Love, work is more than just a job - it's about making a difference and enjoying the journey. Our values shape everything we do, and our people truly are our brand. You'll be empowered to take ownership of your work and grow your career in a supportive, positive environment.
Enjoy a competitive salary and a fantastic range of benefits including the following:
Paid parental leave
Access to purchase additional leave
Annual skin checks, flu vaccinations and health checks
Staff purchasing benefits
Volunteer days to give back to your local community
Access to free confidential counselling and support services for you and your family.
Applications close on Monday, 5 January 2026.
We will be reviewing applications as they arrive and some interviews may be scheduled prior to Christmas and further interviews will be scheduled mid-January for commencement in February 2026.
