The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional who has a proven track record in delivering exceptional outcomes and team leadership.
This role is part of Nelsons Regional Management team reporting directly to the Branch Manager. It is essential that you can demonstrate proven experience leading and developing effective teams, and the ability to champion continuous improvement associated with the implementation of improvements. You will have an exceptional employee management style with the ability to promote productivity and accountability.
The Operations Manager is accountable for the construction operations of the Division, ensuring the delivery of successful project performance. To be considered for this role you will have an exceptional track record in commercial construction and the ability to think strategically, optimise the operational aspects of our business and enhance our capabilities by developing a strong performance based culture.

- Proven large scale commercial experience over a range of high value projects
- Conceptual planning ability and problem solving skills
- Proven ability to plan and contribute to proposals and tenders for major projects
- Strong relationship management skills
- Proven leadership and coaching skills
- Commitment to a zero harm Health and Safety culture
