The opportunity
We are on the lookout for a trade-qualified, motivated, and driven Foreperson to join our Wellington team on one of our projects in Whanganui. You'll bring proven site experience, strong leadership of trade teams, and a solid track record delivering commercial projects for a main contractor. If you have entry-level digital technology skills relevant to construction, that's a bonus - but not essential. Full training on Naylor Love's digital systems will be provided.
In this role, you'll supervise and coordinate site personnel and subcontractors, working closely with the project team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
We're looking for someone who thrives in a team environment, leads with a supportive style, and takes ownership of their results. You'll be a skilled carpenter who can identify and solve problems efficiently, uphold health and safety standards, and follow company processes. A willingness to embrace new challenges and grow your skillset is key. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Why work for us
At Naylor Love, we know that work is about more than just the job - it's about the experience. When you join us, you'll feel the strength of our values and understand why Our People are Our Brand. We empower our team to take ownership of their work and support them with opportunities to grow.
In addition to a competitive salary, you will have access to a wide range of other benefits including the following:
- Southern Cross Medical insurance for you and your whānau (covers pre-existing conditions)
