The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead our Waikato/Bay of Plenty team. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will oversee the delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects - from new builds, high-end fit-outs to major refurbishments and seismic upgrades.
This is a great opportunity for an exceptional individual who is at the top of their profession and can take on a leadership role in the company.
This role is a key part of the boarder regional senior leadership team, where you'll drive excellence in construction delivery, team culture, and client satisfaction. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day performance of our operations team, fostering collaboration and results across the region.
As part of the broader regional senior leadership team, you will:
- lead and mentor a team of approximately 35 operational staff
- manage multiple projects ranging from $100K to $100M (combined annual turnover of circa $80M)
- drive operational efficiency, innovation, and best practice
- build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
- champion health, safety, and environmental excellence
- oversee resource planning, project programming, and strategic oversight
- support and grow our Cadetship Programme and future leaders.
