The opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to join our Nelson team. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring a strong team culture and excellence in delivery of construction management processes and project outcomes. This role will contribute as part of the Regional Senior Leadership team and effectively lead the day-to-day performance of the operational team across the region. You will utilise your strong leadership skills to lead a team of approximately 30 operational staff, ensuring continuous improvement through innovation and best practice. This is an essential role in maintaining morale and team performance, while ensuring key client relationships are enhanced. You will be equipped to manage multiple projects ranging from $100,000 to $100m with a combined workload of circa $40 million annually. These projects consist of high-end fit-outs, new builds, seismic upgrades and major refurbishments.
