The opportunity
We are looking for a down-to-earth Apprentice to come on board and become part of our great success story.
If you are considering an apprenticeship, then look no further than Naylor Love. Our apprenticeship programme offers apprentices a wide-ranging skill base not able to be offered by most construction companies. Naylor can offer diversity due to its size and nationwide coverage and being involved in both small and large projects.
Are you a first, second or third-year Apprentice Carpenter? Do you have your pre-trade completed? Some practical experience onsite with construction/carpentry skills is preferred.
To be an apprentice with Naylor Love, you need to have attended Polytechnic and completed your Level 3 Certificate in construction trade skills - Carpentry (or equivalent). The programme provides a pre-trade qualification giving you an even balance of theory and practice. You will undertake a theory component of the National Certificate in Carpentry Level 4, which is the recognised standard for qualified carpenters.
Do you:
- believe in Health and Safety in the workplace?
- demonstrate leadership skills in an encouraging and positive manner?
- have carpentry trade skills or knowledge, pre-trade completed?
- have professional appearance and admirable customer service ethic?
- feel ready to learn and take on new challenges?
- have your own vehicle with a valid driver's licence to get yourself to and from site, within Christchurch area?
