The opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join our Wellington team to continue to deliver construction projects in the Wellington region.
For this role, you will have a Degree or Diploma in Engineering or related field, with building, civil, mechanical, or structural experience to assist in the construction of commercial projects. Experience in setting out will be a key element for this role, as well as the use of modeling software and being able to extract and input information into a 3D building model.
Your responsibilities on projects will include:
- the design and supervision of significant temporary works and design management
- undertaking all standard project set-out surveying
- ensuring the work can be carried out by the project team
- ensuring that all deliverables are clearly agreed with the site team as scoped in the Service Agreement.
You will continually maintain familiarity with the construction drawings and ensure that the structural and architectural shop drawings are also consistent with the current design and specifications. You will also understand the BIM requirements so that you can communicate any changes required for the modeling process or design team.
You will manage, coordinate, and monitor all activities of consultants and subcontractors with structural aspects to ensure that design coordination elements are met to suit project specifics.
