The opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager to help lead the delivery of major commercial projects in Dunedin.
With significant development on the horizon in the region, we're looking for someone who wants to be part of shaping the future of the city, building meaningful, community-focused spaces while working alongside a trusted industry leader. Our pipeline includes large-scale and complex commercial projects, offering the chance to work at a level that will challenge and excite you.
We're looking for someone who brings more than technical delivery experience. You'll be the kind of leader who lifts people up, someone who creates clarity, builds momentum, and enjoys being part of a tight-knit team that genuinely backs each other. You'll take ownership, think strategically and commercially, and bring a calm, solutions-focused mindset. Contract and programme understanding matters, but your leadership style, ability to bring people together, and passion for building great teams is just as important.
This is a great time to join us. As the region enters a period of significant growth, the right person will play a key role in delivering high-profile work and setting our Dunedin team up for even more success. If you're curious, collaborative, and motivated by building both projects and people, we'd love to talk.
You will bring the following:
- Ten plus years' experience leading large-scale commercial builds
- Strong ability to interpret complex technical information and manage programmes
- Experience leading and motivating project teams and subcontractors
- A collaborative leadership style and a drive for quality delivery
- Commercial awareness and confidence making sound decisions under pressure
- A passion for fostering a positive, safety-focused team culture
