The opportunity

We are seeking an additional experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team. We have some exciting and iconic projects underway and more projects in the pipeline. This role will give you the opportunity to build on our successes and continue to lead and deliver our projects. You will do this by providing effective and accurate financial quantity surveying services in all technical and contractual activities.

You will have a solid track record working for a main commercial contractor with the ability to manage projects of varying complexity and size.

The role includes project financial management and administration of building contracts, final account negotiations, letting and administration of sub-contractors.

You must be a team player, who can take personal ownership and responsibility for your results ensuring best practice principles are achieved.

This is a permanent, full-time position guaranteeing you 40 hours per week.

You will be part of the Central Otago team based in Queenstown but may also be required to work in the greater Southland region depending on the project.

Fixed remuneration indication: $90,000 - $120,000 (inclusive of base salary and company medical scheme) depending on experience and qualifications.
